system of a down

i know many who likes system of a down and i for one, love them. they're back together and i think their releasing a new album soon. hopefully it'll be great like all the early once. i read that john dolmayan (their drummer) had audition to become the SMASHING PUMPKINS' drummer!!! i am truly shocked at this. billy corgan (frontman of SMASHING PUMPKINS) is rebuilding the band after the departure of jimmy chamberlin. he is thinking of hiring to john dolmayan to take his place. He comment, " 12 drummers were auditioned on tuesday. an auditional tryouts would protentially be held in may do to such overwhelming response to audition process. overall, the drumming audition were considered a very possitive experience. the talent in all the drummers that tried out was incredible. some of the candidate include john dolmayan of system of a down. system of a down has been on haitus since 2006.

if john really wanted to join the smashing pumpkin, he should. but many people aren't gona be happy about that. he was the best guitarist i've ever heard. besides, what will SOAD do without him? he can't just bail out on them.
